Moving Strings is a collective of musicians, mainly stringed-instrument players, that investigates the boundaries between music, sound movement and dance. They are developing their own interdisciplinary language: bridging and connecting concepts from different disciplines and practices, and striving to create a new medium of creation and performance.

Moving strings was founded in 2017 and regularly research and rehearse together, as well as with external dance instructors. In 2018 they were artists in residence in the Vogellbuurt and created site specific performance pieces in the neighbourhood. In June 2019 they performed their debut, presenting new original repertoire at the 4Bid Gallery.
